SPCE Galvanized Steel Sheet

Product Description

SPCE is a Japanese standard for cold-rolled steel that is specifically designed for applications requiring high surface quality and excellent formability, particularly in deep drawing processes. The “E” in SPCE signifies its suitability for “electrical” applications, meaning it can be used in the manufacturing of parts that demand high precision and surface smoothness. When galvanized, SPCE steel plates receive a zinc coating that enhances their corrosion resistance, making them ideal for use in environments prone to rust. This galvanized steel is commonly used in automotive, electrical, and appliance industries for components like car body panels, electrical enclosures, and roofing. The combination of SPCE’s strength, smooth finish, and zinc protection ensures long-lasting performance, making it a versatile material in demanding applications.

Delong Warehouse

Our warehouse is designed to efficiently store and manage large quantities of SPCE Galvanized Steel Sheets while ensuring their protection from external elements. The warehouse is organized by sheet type, size, and specification, allowing for quick and easy access when fulfilling orders. To maintain the integrity of the galvanized coating, the environment is carefully controlled to minimize exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures. With an advanced inventory management system, we ensure the accurate tracking of stock and rapid order processing. Each batch of SPCE Galvanized Steel Sheets is stored in a manner that ensures it remains in top-quality condition until shipment. With our reliable storage practices, we guarantee fast and efficient delivery of your galvanized steel sheets.

Product Inspection

The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.

Product Measurement

SPCE Galvanized Steel Sheet adheres to JIS G 3302 and ASTM A653 specifications, available in thicknesses of 0.4mm–3.0mm, widths of 700mm–1,500mm, and customizable lengths up to 6,000mm (coil inner/outer diameters: 508mm–610mm/1,200mm–1,800mm). The zinc coating (60–275g/m², Z12–Z275) is verified via XRF (X-ray fluorescence) and magnetic thickness gauges to ensure uniformity, with surface finishes ranging from spangle-free to minimal spangle for aesthetic applications. Critical tolerances include:

  • Flatness: ±2 I-units
  • Edge camber: ≤1mm/m
  • Surface roughness: Ra ≤0.8µm (extra-smooth for deep drawing).
Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) validate mechanical properties:
  • Yield strength: 140–220MPa
  • Tensile strength: 270–350MPa
  • Elongation: ≥30% (superior formability for automotive stamping and complex forming).

Product Packaging

SPCE Galvanized Steel Sheet is packaged with precision to ensure corrosion resistance and surface integrity during global logistics. Each sheet is interleaved with VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) paper or shrink-wrapped in UV-resistant polyethylene film to prevent moisture ingress and surface scratches. For bulk orders, sheets are stacked on reinforced wooden pallets or steel skids, secured with galvanized steel straps, and fitted with corner protectors to avoid edge damage. Custom packaging solutions, such as rust-inhibiting oil coatings or crated bundles, are available for high-humidity regions. Labels clearly display grade (SPCE+Z), thickness, width, zinc coating class (Z12–Z275), and QR codes for full traceability, complying with JIS G 3302 and ISO 4042 standards.
