Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
DX54D+Z Galvanized Steel Pipe adheres to EN 10346 and ASTM A653 specifications, offering outer diameters from 10.5mm to 165mm and wall thicknesses of 0.5mm–6.0mm. Standard lengths range from 3m to 12m, with customizable fixed or random cuts to suit automotive, HVAC, or construction applications. The zinc coating (60–180g/m²) is rigorously tested via magnetic flux and XRF (X-ray fluorescence) to ensure uniformity and adherence to Z100-Z275 classifications. Critical tolerances, including ovality (±0.8%), straightness (±0.15% per meter), and surface finish (spangle-free or minimized spangle), are verified using laser micrometers and 3D profiling systems. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2) confirm mechanical properties such as yield strength (140–260MPa), tensile strength (270–420MPa), and elongation (≥24%), ensuring superior formability for deep-drawing and roll-forming processes.
Product Packaging
DX54D+Z Galvanized Steel Pipe is meticulously packaged to ensure maximum protection against corrosion and mechanical damage during transit and storage. Each pipe is securely bound with heavy-duty galvanized steel straps and fitted with reinforced plastic or steel end caps to prevent moisture ingress and edge deformation.
