Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
DX52D+Z Galvanized Steel Coil adheres to EN 10346 and ASTM A653 specifications, available in thicknesses of 0.3mm–3.0mm, widths of 600mm–1,500mm, and inner/outer diameters of 508mm–610mm/1,200mm–1,800mm. The zinc coating (60–275g/m², Z60–Z275) is rigorously tested via XRF (X-ray fluorescence) and magnetic flux gauges to ensure uniformity and adhesion strength. Critical tolerances, including flatness (±2 I-units), edge trim (±1mm), and surface finish (spangle-free or minimized spangle), are validated using automated optical inspection systems. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2) confirm mechanical properties such as yield strength (140–220MPa), tensile strength (270–380MPa), and elongation (≥26%), optimized for applications requiring moderate formability, including construction panels, ductwork, and agricultural equipment.
Product Packaging
DX52D+Z Galvanized Steel Coil is meticulously packaged to ensure corrosion resistance and structural integrity during global transit. Each coil is tightly wound and secured with galvanized steel straps, then encased in multi-layer protective materials, including VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film, waterproof plastic, or coated kraft paper, to block moisture, UV exposure, and physical abrasion. Edges are reinforced with steel or plastic guards to prevent crushing, while anti-rust oil or desiccant packs are added for long-term storage in humid climates.
