DX51D+Z Galvanized Steel Pipe
Product Description
DX51D galvanized steel pipe is a type of steel pipe that has been hot-dip galvanized to provide corrosion resistance. The “DX51D” refers to the grade of steel used in the pipe. The galvanization process involves coating the steel with a thin layer of zinc, which forms a protective barrier against rust and corrosion. Galvanized steel pipes are commonly used in a variety of applications, including water and gas pipelines, as well as in the construction industry.

Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
DX51D+Z Galvanized Steel Pipe adheres to EN 10346 and ASTM A653 specifications, with outer diameters ranging from 10mm to 150mm and wall thicknesses of 0.5mm–4.5mm. Standard lengths are customizable from 2m to 12m (fixed or random cuts), ideal for construction, agricultural, and light industrial applications. The zinc coating (60–180g/m²) is verified via XRF (X-ray fluorescence) and magnetic flux testing to ensure uniformity and compliance with Z60-Z275 classifications. Critical tolerances, including ovality (±0.6%), straightness (±0.2% per meter), and surface finish (smooth, spangle-free), are rigorously inspected using 3D laser scanners. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2) validate mechanical properties such as yield strength (140–200MPa), tensile strength (270–350MPa), and elongation (≥30%), ensuring exceptional formability for bending and welding processes.
Product Packaging
DX51D+Z Galvanized Steel Pipe is meticulously packaged to ensure superior protection against corrosion and physical damage during transit and storage. Each pipe is securely strapped with galvanized steel bands and fitted with durable plastic or steel end caps to prevent moisture ingress and edge deformation. For high-humidity environments or extended shipping durations, pipes are wrapped in VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) film or coated with anti-rust oil to preserve the zinc layer (Z60–Z275). Custom packaging solutions, including hexagonal bundling, wooden crates, or palletized configurations, are available for bulk orders. All packages are labeled with grade (DX51D+Z), dimensions, coating weight, and QR codes for real-time traceability, complying with ISO 9001 and EN 10346 standards for global logistics efficiency.
