Product Description
ASTM A106 is a standard specification for seamless carbon steel pipes used in high-temperature applications. These pipes are commonly used for carrying steam, water, oil, and gas in industries such as petrochemical, power generation, and oil refineries. ASTM A106 pipes are available in three grades: A, B, and C, with Grade B being the most widely used for its strength and ability to withstand high-pressure and high-temperature environments. These pipes can be hot-dip galvanized to enhance corrosion resistance.

Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
Engineered to ASTM A106 Grade B standards, our galvanized steel pipes offer seamless construction with sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 24″ NPS, wall thicknesses of SCH 40–SCH 160, and a zinc coating density of ≥610 g/m² for extreme corrosion resistance. Tensile strength reaches ≥415 MPa, with yield strength of ≥240 MPa, ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature (up to 450°C) applications in power plants, refineries, and petrochemical systems. Custom lengths (6–12 meters), beveled ends, and hydrostatic testing are available.
Product Packaging
Our ASTM A106 Galvanized Steel Pipe is securely packaged in heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant polypropylene sleeves with reinforced end caps to prevent damage during transit. Each pipe is individually wrapped in anti-rust film and bundled with steel strapping, ensuring zinc coating integrity for harsh-environment logistics.
