SPCD galvanized steel strip is a cold-rolled steel product that is further coated with zinc to provide enhanced corrosion resistance. According to the JIS G 3141 standard, SPCD is a deep-drawing quality steel grade known for its excellent formability, smooth surface finish, and medium strength, making it suitable for applications requiring intricate shaping or stamping. The addition of a zinc coating (galvanization) offers superior protection against rust and environmental degradation, extending the lifespan of the material. Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
Engineered to JIS G 3141 standards, SPCD Galvanized Steel Strip offers precise thickness (0.4–2.0 mm ±0.01 mm), widths (25–450 mm), and zinc coating grades (Z60–Z275) for balanced formability in appliance housings, lighting fixtures, and industrial components. Tensile strength ranges from 280–420 MPa, with elongation up to 32% for medium-complexity forming. Custom slit widths, coil weights (1–12 tons), and pre-cut blanks are available for automated production lines.
Product Packaging
Our SPCD Galvanized Steel Strip is packaged in heavy-duty, moisture-proof paper sleeves with reinforced edge protectors to ensure deformation-free transit. Each coil is shrink-wrapped in anti-corrosion film and secured with steel strapping, safeguarding the zinc coating during global logistics.
