Q195 Galvanized Steel Wire

Product Description
Galvanized steel wire Q195 is a low-carbon steel wire commonly used for applications that require strength, flexibility, and corrosion resistance. It is made from Q195-grade carbon steel, which offers excellent ductility and weldability. The wire undergoes a galvanization process, where it is coated with a layer of zinc to protect it from rust and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor and harsh environments. Q195 galvanized steel wire is widely used in construction, agriculture (for fencing, netting, and reinforcement), electrical industries, and as tie wire. It provides a reliable, cost-effective solution for various industrial and domestic applications.

Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
Engineered to GB/T 700-2006 standards, Q195 Galvanized Steel Wire offers a diameter range of 1.5–5.0 mm (±0.02 mm tolerance) and a tensile strength of 330–450 MPa, ideal for agricultural fencing, DIY projects, and light structural applications. Standard coils provide 600–2,000 meters per unit, with a zinc coating density of ≥50 g/m² for reliable rust resistance. Custom pre-cut lengths and tension adjustments are available for automated production lines. Download technical specs for elongation rates, salt-spray test data, and batch-specific certifications.
Product Packaging
Our Q195 Galvanized Steel Wire is securely packaged in UV-resistant, heavy-duty polypropylene coils, reinforced with double steel strapping to ensure damage-free global logistics. Each coil is shrink-wrapped with anti-corrosion film to protect the zinc coating during transit and storage. For bulk orders (3,000+ coils), opt for palletized packaging with customizable branding or eco-friendly recyclable materials to align with corporate sustainability initiatives.
