55# Galvanized Steel Wire

Product Description
55# galvanized steel wire is made from medium-carbon steel with a carbon content of approximately 0.55%. This steel grade offers a balance between strength, hardness, and ductility, making it ideal for applications that require both toughness and flexibility. The wire is coated with a layer of zinc through a galvanizing process to enhance its resistance to corrosion, ensuring durability in harsh environments. 55# galvanized steel wire is commonly used in construction, agricultural fencing, binding, and reinforcement applications. It is also used in manufacturing and as wire rope, providing a reliable and long-lasting solution for a variety of industrial and domestic needs.

Our inventory management system ensures real-time tracking and accurate stock levels, enabling us to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently. We provide both short-term and long-term storage solutions, catering to both small and large-scale orders. By maintaining a well-organized and secure warehouse, we can guarantee fast, reliable order processing and shipping, reducing lead times and ensuring your supply chain runs smoothly.
Product Inspection
The appearance of the coating is bright, meticulous, without sagging or wrinkles. Thickness inspection can use coating thickness gauge, the method is relatively simple. The thickness of the coating can also be obtained by converting the amount of zinc adhesion. For the bonding strength, a bending press can be used to bend the sample at 90-180°, and there should be no cracks or peeling of the coating. A heavy hammer can also be used to test, and the salt spray test and copper sulfate corrosion test can be done in batches.
Product Measurement
Precision-engineered to ASTM A641 specifications, the 55# Galvanized Steel Wire features a diameter of 1.83 mm (±0.01 mm tolerance) and a tensile strength range of 900–1,100 MPa, ideal for agricultural, construction, and marine applications. Standard coils provide 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) per unit, with a zinc coating density of 30+ g/m² for reliable corrosion resistance. Custom pre-cut lengths (50–2,000 meters) and tension adjustments are available for automated assembly lines.
Product Packaging
Our 55# Galvanized Steel Wire is securely packaged in heavy-duty, UV-resistant polypropylene coils, reinforced with double steel strapping to ensure damage-free transit across global supply chains. Each coil is wrapped in anti-corrosion film, safeguarding the zinc coating integrity during prolonged storage or shipping. For bulk orders (2,000+ coils), opt for palletized packaging with customizable branding or eco-friendly recyclable materials to meet corporate sustainability goals.
